GREEN BAY-Ashwaubenon Jaguar swimmer Mark Teske won the 100 and 200 freestyle races Thursday evening (Jan. 4) at Green Bay Southwest High School.

However, the GB United swim team won the overall dual by 37 points.

In the 200 Yard Freestyle race, Teske built a marginal lead over Joe Stoa (GBU) the first 125 yards.

Stoa closed the gap with an excellent 50 yards just before the closing kick.

Teske remained resilient and won the final 25 yards and the race just ahead of his opponent.

Joe Stone won the sprint (50 Yard Freestyle Race) by out touching Kaen Baxter of GBU at the wall.

Joseph Steffel captured the twenty lap 500 Yard Freestyle race for the Jaguars by over half a minute, but it was not enough as GB United prevailed in 7 of the 11 events.

The Jaguars fall to 2-1 in Fox River Classic Conference action.
