The Jaguar girl’s tennis team finished the season with a 15-8 overall record (3-6 FRCC).

The team won matches over the likes of Kimberly, West De Pere, Wauwatosa West, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point Pacelli, and Fort Atkinson out of conference, and Green Bay Preble, Sheboygan South, and De Pere within.

In addition, the Jaguars captured the eight team Kaukauna Invite by winning six of seven championships; picking up 40 points in the process.

The team really picked up momentum in the postseason when they finished second out of nine teams at the SubSectionals with 14 points. By winning seven matches at the Subs, the Jaguars accumulated more points than any previous team in postseason in over a decade.

Subsequently, they finished sixth overall with a total of 17 points. Emily DeLaurelle, Caylee Behnke, and Maddy Coopmans all finished third at Sectionals.

Marisa Marohl, DeLaurelle, Behnke, and Coopmans were named Honorable Mention for the 2017 season.

The team graduated four seniors on its varsity line-up but will look to bring an impressive eighth grade class in 2018 and compete in the upper echelon of the conference.

Jaguar 2017-18 Individual Final Results (Varsity):

#1 Singles:       Marohl  20-7

#2 Singles        Bitz Steinhoff  20-7

#3 Singles        Aubree Helstad 16-11
