Working for a furry tail ending

Posted

GREEN BAY – On Feb. 10, Fort Howard First Grade Teacher Lara Henke took her class to Lucky 7 Dog Rescue.

Their monthly visits involve reading to the puppies, engaging in writing activities and working on community service projects.

This Monday, the students assisted with creating gift bags for Lucky 7’s upcoming fundraiser.

Founded in 2015, Lucky 7 Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers and supported through a network of foster homes.

Dedicated to helping dogs in need both locally and across the nation, they collaborate with other rescues and compassionate individuals to make a meaningful impact on the lives of animals and the people who care for them.
