WIAA releases boys’ basketball tournament brackets

STEVENS POINT – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association recently released the brackets for the upcoming boys’ basketball tournament series.

The opening round of regional play is Tuesday, Feb. 16, while the second round is Friday, Feb. 19.

Regional finals are Saturday, Feb. 20.

The brackets will be reseeded before the sectional semifinals, which are Thursday, Feb. 25.

Sectional finals are Saturday, Feb. 27.

Locally, in Division 1, De Pere earned a No. 1 seed, while Ashwaubenon and Seymour did the same in Division 2.

The higher-seeded team will host its respective regional game.
