WIAA girls’ volleyball postseason brackets released

BROWN COUNTY – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association recently released the brackets for the girls’ volleyball postseason.

The state championships for the four divisions will be held Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 4-6, at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Regional play for Divisions 2, 3 and 4 opens Tuesday, Oct. 19, while regional play for Division 1 opens Thursday, Oct. 21.

Postseason play continues Saturday, Oct. 23.

Higher-seeded teams will host games at their respective schools until the sectional finals, where sites have already been predetermined.

Division 1

Thursday, Oct. 21: No. 11 Appleton West @ No. 6 Green Bay Southwest; No. 13 Ashwaubenon @ No. 4 Hortonville; No. 12 Green Bay Preble @ No. 5 Appleton East; No. 14 Green Bay East @ No. 3 Kaukauna; No. 10 Pulaski @ No. 7 Bay Port; No. 9 West De Pere @ No. 8 De Pere.

Division 2

Tuesday, Oct. 19: No. 13 Chilton @ No. 4 Notre Dame Academy; No. 12 Kiel @ No. 5 Seymour; No. 9 Little Chute @ No. 8 Denmark; No. 3 Xavier @ No. 14 Green Bay West.

Division 4

Oct. 19: No. 10 Tigerton @ No. 7 Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran.
