WIAA boys’ soccer postseason brackets released

BROWN COUNTY – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association recently released the brackets for the boys’ soccer postseason.

The state championships for the four divisions will be held Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 4-6, at the Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

Regional play for all divisions opens Tuesday, Oct. 19, and continues Thursday, Oct. 21.

Regional final games are Saturday, Oct. 23.

Higher-seeded teams will host games at their respective schools until the sectional finals, where sites have already been predetermined.

Locally, Division 1 Bay Port received a No. 1 seed and Green Bay Preble is the No. 2 seed.

In Division 2, Pulaski received a No. 1 seed.

In Division 3, Seymour garnered a No. 1 seed, while Notre Dame Academy is the No. 2 seed.

Division 1

Thursday, Oct. 21: No. 9 Green Bay East @ No. 8 De Pere; No. 15 Manitowoc Lincoln @ No. 2 Green Bay Preble.

Saturday, Oct. 23: No. 9 Green Bay East/No. 8 De Pere @ No. 1 Bay Port (1 p.m.).

Division 2

Tuesday, Oct. 19: No. 6 Ashwaubenon @ No. 3 Green Bay Southwest; No. 7 Green Bay West @ No. 2 Kaukauna; No. 8 Merrill @ No. 1 Pulaski; No. 5 West De Pere @ No. 4 Wausau East.

Division 3

Oct. 21: No. 16 Sheboygan Falls/No. 17 Denmark @ No. 1 Seymour (4 p.m.); No. 15 New Holstein/No. 18 Berlin @ No. 2 Notre Dame Academy (4 p.m.).

Division 4

Oct. 21: No. 6 St. Mary Catholic @ No. 11 Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran.
