West De Pere sweeps Bay Conference meet

DE PERE – The West De Pere High School track and field teams swept the Bay Conference championship meet May 13 at Schneider Stadium.

The boys totaled 199 points to easily outdistance Shawano (92 points), while Green Bay East (fourth, 86) and Green Bay West (fifth, 85) also participated.

The West De Pere girls’ 219 points was ahead of New London (142), Green Bay East (fourth, 66) and Green Bay West (eighth, 36).

West De Pere junior Kaylee Olson won four individual events (100, high jump, long jump and triple jump), while Tejay Evans (100, 200, 400) and Jermaine Evans (800, 1,600, 3,200) each won three events on the evening.

100 hurdles: Pejha Mitchell, West De Pere, 15.93.

300 hurdles: Neta Hailey, West De Pere, 50.30.

4x100 relay: Green Bay West, 51.78.

4x200 relay: Green Bay West, 1:51.15.

4x400 relay: Green Bay East, 4:20.51.

High jump: Olson, 5-02.00.

Long jump: Olson, 17-11.25.

Triple jump: Olson, 37-02.75.

Discus: Skyler Genz, Green Bay West, 104-07.
