BROWN COUNTY – Week 7 of the alternate fall football season conducted this spring is complete after May 7-8 games.
The season consisted of seven games.
De Pere goes unbeaten
The Redbirds (7-0) completed a perfect season by beating Oshkosh West on the road, 24-10.
West took a 7-0 lead into the second quarter before De Pere quarterback Gabe Herman connected with Maddax Shinners on a 69-yard scoring strike.
After the 2-point run attempt failed, the score remained 7-6.
Herman, who was 7-for-13 with 141 yards passing, connected with Noah Gehin from 16 yards out to make it 12-6 after the 2-point attempt was unsuccessful.
West cut the margin halfway through the third quarter to 12-10 with a field goal.
Adam Timbrook gave the Redbirds the lead near the end of the third quarter on a 4-yard touchdown run.
Herman hit Shinners on the 2-point conversion to make it 18-10.
Timbrook ended the scoring with a 17-yard touchdown run late in the game for the final margin.
Timbrook rushed for 107 yards on 23 carries.
Michael Alexander had 16 total tackles on defense while Bennett Spaeth recorded an interception for De Pere.
Green Bay East loses on road
The Red Devils (1-6) lost a 42-12 game to Manitowoc Lincoln.
Trailing 14-0 in the first quarter, Alex Aoki picked up a fumble and returned it 99 yards for a score
After the 2-point run attempt failed, the score was 14-6.
Aoki added the other touchdown from two yards out in the fourth quarter for the final margin.
Aoki was 3-for-8 passing for 49 yards.
He also led the Red Devils with 23 yards rushing on 13 attempts.
Green Bay Southwest ends with win
The Trojans (1-6) beat Appleton West, 17-6.
Southwest had two forfeits during the season due to COVID-19 issues on the team.
No other stats were available online.
Notre Dame loses second straight
The Tritons (5-2) were shut out on the road against Stoughton, 19-0.
Will Zellner rushed for 98 yards on 30 attempts while Hogan Anderson completed 9-of-19 passes for 110 yards.
John Nolle caught three passes for 56 yards.
Pulaski pummels Point
The Red Raiders (4-2) defeated Stevens Point on the road, 42-20.
After a safety, an 11-yard touchdown run by JoJo O’Leary and the extra point, Pulaski was up 9-0 in the first quarter.
The Red Raiders scored back-to-back touchdowns in the second quarter to grab a 23-6 lead.
Nash Lemerond hit Bo Bramschreiber with a 4-yard score, and Max Steinbrecher added a 20-yard run.
The Panthers cut the margin to 23-20 going into halftime.
Three consecutive touchdowns by Pulaski in the third and fourth quarters put the game away.
Steinbrecher had three scores on the night and rushed for 66 yards.
O’Leary rushed 19 times for 129 yards.
