DE PERE – Unity Hospice celebrated its second retail shop at 1302 S.

Broadway in De Pere on Jan. 23 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The business has been serving the greater Green Bay area for over 30 years at 1641 Commanche Ave., Green Bay, offering gently used furniture, clothing, home décor and other items.

“Now with two locations, we are thrilled to provide even more funding to ‘CommUnity’ Care, Unity’s financial assistance program that helps ensure everyone, regardless of financial means, have access to our compassionate hospice care and grief support,” said Paakou Vang, Resale Shoppe manager.

“Proceeds from both Resale Shoppes also support special programs offered by Unity, such as ‘Gifted Wishes,’ a program that makes end-of-life wishes come true for Unity Hospice patients in Northeast Wisconsin; Paws of Comfort Pet Therapy; and our unique Respecting Valor Veteran Program.”

The newest location was celebrated by Unity Hospice leadership, local community members and representatives from the De Pere Chamber of Commerce.

Unity Hospice is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing “compassionate care for patients and families facing life-limiting illness.”
