GREEN Bay – Two incumbents and one challenger have been elected to new three-year terms among the field of five candidates who ran Tuesday, April 2, for the Green Bay Area Public School District Board of Education.
Of the three top vote-getters who earned board seats, challenger Eric Vanden Heuvel tallied the most votes with 13,756.
Board Trustee Kristina Shelton, who was appointed to the board last August, came in second with 12,675 votes, while President Brenda Warren, a board member since 2004, finished close behind in third place with 12,415 votes to be re-elected.
The two challengers who didn’t garner enough votes to be elected were John Jahnke with 9,950 and Paul Boucher at 5,877.
Board Vice President Ed Dorff decided not to seek re-election.
