Trout Unlimited banquet Feb. 21

ASHWAUBENON –The 44th Annual Green Bay Trout Unlimited fundraiser banquet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Stadium View Banquet Hall.

The banquet includes a dinner, raffle prizes and auctions.

Green Bay Trout Unlimited is a nonprofit club dedicated to conserving, protecting, restoring and reconnecting the coldwater fisheries (trout) and watersheds.

The group is a 100 percent volunteer-run club and all funds raised go toward its mission.

Green Bay Trout Unlimited’s goal is to raise $20,000.

Monies will go towards funding full time crews to do work on Northeast Wisconsin trout streams.

The group sponsors several education initiatives for youth in the outdoors; camps, teach fishing and fly tying.

It also works with veterans and does hands-on stream habitat improvement.
