DE PERE – Jeff Trickey Quarterback Technique and Leadership coaches will spend two days working with more than 50 high school quarterbacks from across the state June 24-25 at St. Norbert College’s Schneider Stadium in De Pere.
Trickey and his staff cover all aspects of quarterback technique and give special attention to the role the quarterback can play as a leader, on the field and off.
“The responsibility to lead and positively impact others is a privilege,” Trickey said. “As a staff, we look forward to actively teaching, coaching and helping prepare our campers as they continue this chapter of their journey. The student-athletes who attend our camps will be better players when they leave, but if they are not better men of character, then we have failed.”
Trickey earned eight Ripon College letters in three sports.
During his senior year at Ripon, he was elected by his teammates as captain of the football, basketball and baseball teams.
Trickey was selected to the All-Midwest Conference first-team as a football quarterback and again as a baseball shortstop.
Day 1 of the two-day quarterback camp is June 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while Day 2 is June 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A youth quarterback camp will also be held from 3 to 6 p.m. June 24.
Campers may register for the camp on-site, and parents and area coaches are welcome.
Trickey will hold 25 camps in six states this summer for quarterbacks and receivers, enrolling more than 1,000 athletes.
