“The Making of Titletown: Brown County’s Heritage Trail” featured in Uniquely Wisconsin Series

The rich history of Green Bay and its deep connection to the Green Bay Packersl takes center stage in Season Five of Uniquely Wisconsin, with a special story highlighting the Green Bay Packers Heritage Trail.

“The Making of Titletown: Brown County’s Heritage Trail,” will be highlighted in an upcoming episode of Uniquely Wisconsin. Coverage of his story will include a streaming docuseries, as well as social and digital stories. The story was released on YouTube and all Discover Wisconsin streaming platforms on Sept. 15.
Built upon generations of rich storytelling from Discover Wisconsin, the three-time Emmy award winning Uniquely Wisconsin brand highlights the stories of the people, the culture and the history of the state, along with economic development and tourism.

“Brown County’s Heritage Trail tells the story of the Green Bay Packers through the places, people and events that helped shape one of the most storied franchises in professional sports,” said Discover Mediaworks, Inc. President & CEO Mark C. Rose. “We are so proud to tell this story because it’s more than a collection of historic sites, the trail offers visitors an opportunity to experience the history of the Packers while exploring the neighborhoods, businesses and community that have been part of the team’s story for generations. Sharing stories like this are what make Uniquely Wisconsin and Brown County so special.”

Current counties sharing their Uniquely Wisconsin stories in Season Five, which will be released through December 2026, include Walworth, Brown, Sawyer, Grant and Washington.

“The Green Bay Packers are an important part of the identity of our community and our state, but the story is much bigger than football,” said Wisconsin Counties Association president and CEO Mark D. O’Connell, a native of Brown County who grew up in the shadow of Lambeau Field. “The Heritage Trail helps tell the story of the people, places and moments that made Green Bay what it is today. We at the Wisconsin Counties Association are excited to have Uniquely Wisconsin share this story with audiences across Wisconsin and beyond.”
