DE PERE – On Aug. 27, St. Norbert College announced that they had surpassed their $125 million goal during their “Support What Matters” fundraising campaign.
The campaign was launched in May 2022 to grow the college’s endowment in recognition of its 125th anniversary and ended May 31, with more than $128 million raised.
“We are deeply grateful to our generous donors, whose unwavering support has made this achievement possible,” said Dr. Laurie M. Joyner, president of St. Norbert College. “This milestone not only strengthens our endowment but also reinforces our commitment to providing accessible and affordable education. The impact of this campaign will be felt for generations, ensuring that St. Norbert College continues to serve its mission and thrive for the next 125 years.”
Through 17,000 donors, the campaign doubled the college’s endowment, created 139 new endowments, funded the Donald & Patricia Schneider Family Hall project, took in $50 million in endowed gifts and $17 million for an unrestricted scholarship fund — all in conjunction with its key priorities of scholarships and financial aid, strategic innovation, mission and contemporary student experiences.
“While this is cause for celebration, we recognize there is more work to do. With your support, we will continue to preserve, enhance and amplify the things that make St. Norbert College unique – and uniquely important in a complex and ever-changing world. As we look back on an illustrious 125-year history, we also look ahead to a thriving future, for the next 125 years and beyond,” the college’s website stated.
