GREEN BAY-Sage Wagner was the lone Jaguar representative to make it to State Friday afternoon at Colburn Park. Wagner finished fourth overall with a time of 19:15 and will try to better her 11th place finish in 2016. Wagner, "I'm just really excited to have finished in the top five today. There were alot of great runners in the field. I love the course in Wisconsin Rapids and hope to have a great finish next weekend. "
Sophomore Erica Conrad ran a 20:25 good enough for an 18th place finish in her first year of running cross country for the Jaguars. Conrad, “I wanted to compete in a sport in fall to complement soccer in the spring. Every meet I seem to improve and get better. I have really enjoyed it and I want to try and get better my last two years to try and get to state.”
