Preble student-athletes honored in ceremony

GREEN BAY - Six Green Bay Preble student-athletes were recognized at a recent ceremony for continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Owen Brennan plans to attend Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, to play soccer.

Brennan is a two-time, first-team all-conference selection and received honorable mention all-state.

Kaci Duquaine will attend UW-Eau Claire to play golf.

Duquaine was a member of two, state-qualifying teams while at Preble.

Jacqueline Kornowski plans to attend UW-Whitewater, where she will compete in track and field.

Kornowski is currently ninth on the Preble all-time, top-10 list in the 200-meter dash.

Emma Onesti plans to attend UW-Eau Claire to golf.

Onesti is a three-time, most valuable golfer award winner at Preble.

Hunter Petska plans to attend Rock Valley College in Rockford, Illinois, where he will participate in baseball.

Prep Baseball Report ranks Petska as the ninth-best catcher in the state from the 2020 class.

Jacob Warpinski will attend St. Norbert College and golf.

Warpinski was voted most improved as a junior.
