SHEBOYGAN – The Green Bay Preble girls and Bay Port boys both won Fox River Classic Conference track and field titles May 14 at Sheboygan South High School.
Preble’s 115 points narrowly nipped Ashwaubenon (100), while De Pere (third, 97), Bay Port (fourth, 93), Pulaski (fifth, 84), Notre Dame Academy (sixth, 72) and Green Bay Southwest (t-ninth, 18) rounded out the area team results for the girls.
Bay Port amassed 192.5 points to run away with the boys’ title.
Preble (second, 141), De Pere (third, 119.5), Pulaski (fourth, 52.5), Ashwaubenon (fifth, 50), Notre Dame (38.5) and Southwest (seventh, 35) also had strong showings.
