Pirates WIAA state send off Thursday at 11:45

SUAMICO – The Bay Port girls’ soccer team will be heading to the WIAA D1 state tournament in style on Thursday, June 14.

The Pirates will get a fire-truck escort from the high school and will travel down Cardinal Lane in Howard at 11:45 a.m.

Bay Port, the No. 1 ranked team in the state, will face Kettle Moraine at 7:00 Thursday night at the Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee in the state semifinals.

If the Pirates can manage to win that game, they’d play the winner of the Sheboygan North/Muskego game on Saturday at 1:35 for the championship.
