Cathy Meulemans has lived in De Pere for about 13 years since relocating from the Black Creek area. She attended college at UW-Oshkosh and was set to embark on a career as a teacher, but circumstances changed at the last moment and Meulemans instead went to work for Humana in De Pere, where she spent 13 years. She likes how much the area has to offer its residents and how everything she enjoys doing in De Pere is within walking distance from Nicolet Commons, where Meulemans lives with her terrier-mix pal, Rylie. Meulemans said most everyone is very friendly and she always has something to talk with her neighbors about. Rylie concurs, as other pups including Brooks, Lucy, Willow and T-Rex are all friends living, and barking, close by. Josh Staloch Photo
