Angie Kusek is the owner of Ginger Birch Floral, a flower studio and gift shop nestled inside Vickery Village in Suamico.
Kusek said she loves being a shop owner, and is grateful for every day Ginger Birch is open.
"I really wanted to have a storefront, so I could interact with people and be a part of the community," she said.
Ginger Birch specializes in floral arrangements and a variety of gifts, while Kusek's furry sidekick Melvin can be seen wandering around the shop during open hours.
A resident of Green Bay for the last 18 years, Kusek said she intended for the city to be a "pitstop" for college, but has stayed put because she fell in love with the area.
"I love how (Green Bay) has a focus on nature," she said. "There's also the convenience of great restaurants and great shopping."
