HOWARD – Construction continues on the Howard Commons apartment complex with Sept. 1 marking when tenants are scheduled to move in 13 third-floor units of the 84-unit Building A, said Howard Village Administrator Paul Evert.
Evert noted the opening of the floors on Building A will take place from top to bottom with the third floor scheduled to open Sept. 1, followed by the second floor Sept. 15 and the first floor Oct. 1.
“As of last Friday (Aug. 24), there were 31 units leased out and six applications in the process,” he said. “A very strong start.”
Located between the YMCA and Meadowbrook Park, the first two apartment buildings are now being constructed with a third planned in the future.
Evert said the 40-unit Building B is supposed to be completely finished by Dec. 1.
Various change orders have been approved for the apartment project by the Howard village board as work has progressed on the first two buildings.
The Howard Commons has been promoted as a project that will be “one of the best luxury communities in northeast Wisconsin” with “an amazing mix of community amenities and interior finishes.”
Alliance Management has a agreement with the village to manage and market Howard Commons.
