HOWARD – Emplify Health by Bellin and the Greater Green Bay YMCA are taking their successful relationship to the next level with the announcement of a new physical therapy clinic at the West Side YMCA.
It’s a collaboration that addresses the growing demand for healthcare services and convenient access to care within the Howard community.
Emplify Health by Bellin’s physical therapy services will move from the nearby Howard clinic into a 3,000 square-foot space at the neighboring West Side YMCA, which will allow Emplify Health by Bellin to eventually double the number of physical therapists practicing in Howard from five to 10.
For Y members, this will mean rapid access to quality care right where they work out.
The move will make additional space for primary care at Emplify Health by Bellin Howard Clinic, meeting the need for added primary care access for area patients.
“Our goal has and always will be to make movement pain-free for patients, as it can set the stage for a lifetime of healthy, enjoyable exercise,” said Charlie DeCleene, Emplify Health by Bellin physical therapist. “By partnering with the Y, we are making it easier for patients to receive quality physical therapy and immediately start working on their routines to begin living healthier and pain-free lives.”
This isn’t the first time Emplify Health by Bellin and the Greater Green Bay YMCA have worked together.
The two organizations have built a relationship collaborating on wellness fairs, educational talks on topics ranging from Parkinson’s disease to cancer and community health events.
Together they identified a need for their community and members and evolved their relationship to solve the problem.
“We are excited to begin this new journey with Emplify Health by Bellin, as it builds on our mutual commitment to health and wellbeing for our communities,” said Greater Green Bay YMCA President and CEO Jamie Hanner. “Having Emplify Health by Bellin physical therapy onsite will ensure we are both creating a seamless path from treatment to active, healthy living. It is a wonderful blend of high quality meets convenience.”
As the partnership evolves, services such as phase three cardiac rehab and medical fitness for cancer patients will be introduced at other Y locations.
Eventually, Emplify Health by Bellin will have a presence in all six Greater Green Bay YMCA locations.
Construction for the West Side Y’s expansion and Emplify Health by Bellin’s physical therapy clinic is set to begin on April 1.
