Will Steeno is a senior on the Pulaski soccer and football teams.
The Red Raiders soccer team finished the regular season 9-5-1, notching wins over De Pere and Sheboygan North.
Steeno scored a goal in the North game.
He said he can head a soccer ball about 20 consecutive times before it hits the ground.
Talk about your second-team Fox River Classic Conference selection as a junior.
“I was surprised after returning from quarantine and missing five or six games. It was a great accomplishment which I’m proud of.”
What’s your most embarrassing soccer moment?
“I played half of a game without my shin guards in. My buddy yelled to me from the stands to get out of the game before I got yelled at by the referee.”
What are your favorite summer activities?
“Pool parties, hanging out with friends and having sleepovers.”
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you’d do?
“Buy a G-Wagen.”
What's the hardest part about performing in a soccer match?
“Getting prepared for the game and having a consistent performance. I split my time between football and soccer, so my body is always tired. It’s a challenge to ice and stretch and eat well before every game.”
A week in Thailand or Ireland?
“Ireland because I want to hike and see the mountains.”
Talk about the frustrations of this past year and how you got through it.
“Being quarantined, I couldn’t be there for the team. To get through it, I watched the games online and continued to train for the last game I was cleared for.”
If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be?
“Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.”

“A hot summer.”

“Jet-skiing.”

“I was a beekeeper, and they called me the ‘bee whisperer.’”

“Hopefully, owning my own business and having a hobby farm.”

“I’d like to play Division II or III soccer and study business or engineering.”
