What’s it like to be a senior leader on the basketball team at Pulaski High School?

“It’s been an honor to be considered a leader for our team this year. I’ve always looked up to the seniors before me, so to be in this position is surreal.”

What’s your most embarrassing basketball moment?

“My freshman year after a game, we were taking showers. As I was walking back to my locker, I warned everyone to be careful because the ground was slippery. As I was warning them, I slipped on my back. To this day, everyone teases me about it.”

What’s your most memorable moment?

“Playing with the Wisconsin Blaze this summer was an incredible opportunity. We played in national tournaments in Louisville, Chicago and Atlanta, where we won two of them. I met amazing people and learned so much from the coaches.”

If you could have one wish, what it would be?

“To go on a vacation around the world with my family.”

What's your favorite thing about playing for coach McElrone?

“This is the first year playing for coach, but I’m already super excited because of how knowledgeable and personable he is. We’ve had a lot of fun over the summer, so I’m looking forward to this season.”

If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be?

“Aaron Rodgers on a Sunday at Lambeau Field.”

What’s one thing most people don't know about you?

I was born in Madison and went to elementary school in Green Bay before transferring to Pulaski in the fourth grade.”

What will be the best thing about this year's basketball team?

“I’m looking forward to surpassing people’s expectations and competing for the conference title with our team being so young.”

Talk about Polka Days and what it means to Pulaski.

“It’s a four-day celebration we have in Pulaski to celebrate the Polish heritage which is common in our town. People come from all over the nation to listen to the polka bands play, watch fireworks, polka dance and end with a parade through the local streets. It’s an event everyone in Pulaski gets to experience and draws in thousands of people every year.”

Favorite drill in practice?

“I like the transition-ladder drill, where we practice 2 vs. 1, 3 vs. 2, 4 vs. 3, 5 vs. 4 and 5 vs. 5.“

What are your hobbies?

“I like to listen to music, go to my cabin, play soccer and support my school’s athletic events.”

What’s your favorite type of music?

“Country.”

What is your favorite thing to do after basketball games with friends on Friday nights?

“The team likes to go to Wouter’s Front to eat or to one of our houses to sleep over.”

What three words describe you?

“Passionate, driven, dedicated.”

What’s your favorite trip ever taken?

“Last spring break, I went to an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana.”

On a weekend in the winter, I can be found …

“Watching the Packers, spending time with my family and friends or working in the gym.”

What is your favorite college or pro basketball team?

“I love watching March Madness, but I always root for Wisconsin.”

What is your desired location to watch a basketball game?

“Wherever the Olympics are being held to watch Team USA.”

California to surf or Florida for a cruise?

“California to surf.”

A half-court shot to end the half or a behind-the-basket hoop?
