Hannah Terrien recently finished her softball career at Green Bay East.
Terrien said her favorite late-night snack is chips.
She said If she could be something for a day, it would be her dog, Jade.
Why did you play softball?
“When I was younger, I had friends I watched play, and I loved it. I told my mom I wanted to play. Ever since then, it’s been my outlet. Playing softball makes me happy, and it clears my mind.”
Did you ever receive any conference awards?
“I received an honorable-mention award my freshman year.”
In your eyes, what’s the hardest position?
“Shortstop. It’s a tricky position, and you have to learn a lot of new skills, have good range, arm strength, coverage and a good glove. Also, you must know what’s going on because it’s fast-paced.”
Talk about how you persevered during cold games.
“I wore my undershirt and packed a sweatshirt. Sometimes, I wore leggings under my softball pants and brought my winter coat. Hand warmers were essential.”
What’s your favorite number?
“Thirty-four.”
How have you grown as a person?
“I’ve grown as a person the last few years. Coming from a small private school to Green Bay East changed me. I found my true self and focused more on myself and my future.”
What’s one thing other classmates or teachers don't know about you?
I like making homemade pasta, especially gnocchi.”
What are your college aspirations?
“I’m attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to study radiologic sciences.”
Would you rather go snorkeling or sailing?
“Sailing.”
What five words describe you?
“Passionate, hard-working, kind, caring, responsible.”
Would you rather visit a museum or an aquarium?
“An aquarium.”
If you had an hour to waste, would you rather go for a walk in a park or read a book?
“A walk in the park.”
What qualities do you look for in a friendship?
“I look for people who are like me in personality and interests. I also look for a person I can trust and depend on.”

“Math.”
What was your favorite outfit to wear at school?
“A T-shirt, ripped jeans and Hey Dude Shoes.”

“A comedian.”
