At what age did you start playing your sport?
How has balancing academics been different from your senior year until now?
I took a lot of my harder classes when I was a sophomore and junior which helped me have a little bit easier academic schedule as a senior.
What is your favorite part about the sport and why have you stuck with it for so long?
I liked hanging out with my friends at practice and track meets.
Is there a professional or collegiate athlete you look up to?
Randall Cobb — when I was younger, I went to a football camp he hosted and it was cool to meet him. He played football and ran track in high school as well.
What is the most challenging part of being a student-athlete?
Balancing school with the demands of sports. Also, the early morning workouts were rough.
What is the most rewarding part of being a student-athlete?
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Being the State Champion for the 100m dash as a senior and going to State for football as a sophomore.
Any hobbies outside of sports?
I just took up fishing.
Top three songs on your workout playlist?
I am a country guy — so anything by Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney or the like.
Favorite pre-workout meal?
Bagel with cream cheese.
