Miceli named Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Posted

GREEN BAY – Amanda Miceli, founder and CEO of BOLD Marketing Agency, was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Greater Green Bay Chamber’s Future 15 and Young Professionals Awards last Thursday, March 5.

As the founder and CEO of the BOLD Marketing Agency, BOLD EVENTS and [ASK BOLD QUESTIONS], Miceli, also known as Camanda in Chief, is on what she calls “a personal mission to inspire & assist people in being their most authentic selves.”

“I do this through being a speaker, fashion designer, creative, and entrepreneur…” she said. “We ignite human connection through authentic branding and intentional gatherings.”

Born and raised just outside of Green Bay, Miceli’s professional career has taken her across the country and back.

“Upon graduating high school, I attended NWTC for Business Management, where I found marketing and quickly realized it was a way I could combine my creative and logistical brain,” she said. “Post grad, I packed my bags and moved halfway across the country to live in Naples Florida for a few years. This is where I started The BOLD Marketing Agency. After a few months of having the business, I experienced Hurricane Ian — a moment in life when you realize life can be short, so I headed back north to spend a summer in Wisconsin with my family. Fall came around, almost time to head back to Florida, and I realized why leave? I loved being by my family, I love all four seasons, and I really love the business culture here. It is genuine, innovative, industrial, and curious — all things that we are at BOLD. I also recognized an opportunity to fill a gap in the market for my home town.”

Filling that gap, BOLD Marketing Agency started as a team of women under 30 focused on creating “new age yet old soul brands” and hosting intentional gatherings.

“We started working with local brands & hosting intentional gatherings like our ANNUAL BOLD FASHION SHOW, ladies cigar nights, branding seminars, workshops, unique networking events and more,” Miceli said.

And the business has only grown from there.

“We have now grown the brand to 3 parts of the business, The BOLD Marketing Agency, BOLD EVENTS, and [ASK BOLD QUESTIONS], where we have a team of four incredible women running the ship,” Miceli said. “At The BOLD Marketing Agency, we support in building and growing personal and company brands through brand creation and masterminds. At BOLD EVENTS, we host intentional gatherings throughout the year, and [ASK BOLD QUESTIONS] is a card game we are producing that is intentional questions for professional and community gatherings. Under my personal brand, Camanda in Cheif, is where I travel to speak at conferences or internal teams. The BOLD journey has been quite magical and we are just getting started!”

Along the way, Miceli said she’s been most proud of the way she’s built not only the BOLD community, but also the culture on her team.

“Through the events that we host, the masterminds we teach, the people we connect with and more, we have built our own really cool community,” she said. “Through the years, we have watched how people we have all brought together now support one another, collaborate with each other on projects, ignite community initiatives, grab meals to stay connected, and so much more. The culture we have created is one that celebrates authenticity, creativity, curiosity, and collaboration — that is something I am very proud of. Growing our internal team is another part I am most proud of. Being an entrepreneur that has a team is a whole different beast than just running a business alone. Growing alongside the fellow leaders on our team has been an honor that is difficult to describe in words.”

Moving forward, Micelie said one thing is certain — her career will continue to be “BIG and BOLD.”

“Right now what is next for my career is continuing to grow and scale The BOLD Marketing Agency, host intentional gatherings in Wisconsin, and launch our latest addition of our brand called, [ASK BOLD QUESTIONS], an intentional card game for professional and community gatherings,” she said. “As for my personal brand outside of BOLD, what’s next is seeing me speaking on big stages or internal teams on being BOLD, staying the vision, personal branding, team culture and learning more about our most authentic selves to then learn more about others. Excited for all that is continuing to bloom is an understatement.”
