Grupo Kn Zavor

How would you describe your music?
Latin.

What inspires you to create music?
At Grupo Kn Zavor, we’re inspired by our roots, our culture, and the power of music to bring people together. Each rhythm we play — whether it’s cumbia, merengue, salsa, bachata or punta — carries the stories of our ancestors, our families, and our communities. We create music to celebrate where we come from, to lift spirits, and to make people dance, no matter where they’re from or what language they speak. Music is our way of expressing joy, resilience, and unity — and when we see a crowd moving together, smiling, and feeling the beat in their bones, that’s what keeps us going. That’s why we do this.

What is your favorite part of performing live?

Our favorite part of performing live is feeling the energy of the crowd. There’s nothing like watching people light up, dance, and connect through the music. Every show is different, and every audience brings its own vibe — but the moment we hit that first note and see people smiling, clapping, or moving to the rhythm, it reminds us why we do what we do. It’s not just about playing songs — it’s about creating memories, building community, and sharing a piece of our culture with everyone in the room. That connection — that magic — is what we live for.

What are you most looking forward to audiences hearing/experiencing at your concert?
We’re most excited for audiences to feel the energy and passion we bring to every performance. Whether it’s your first time hearing Latin music or you grew up dancing to it, we want you to feel like you’re part of something special. From the first beat to the last note, we aim to take people on a journey — through cumbia, merengue, salsa, bachata, and punta. We want folks to experience the joy, the soul, and the rhythm that lives in this music. What we really look forward to is seeing everyone — no matter where they’re from — up on their feet, dancing, smiling and feeling that powerful connection music creates. That’s the experience we want to share.

Radio Free Honduras
How would you describe your music?

Latin Americana, with a Honduran influence.

What inspires you to create music?
Cross cultural collaboration is one of the defining characteristics of this band, and something that continually inspires us to create.

What is your favorite part of performing live?
There is a certain energy that is created between the band and the audience during a live performance. It gets multiplied and shared back and forth creating a unique shared experience. That’s pretty cool.

What are you most looking forward to audiences hearing/experiencing at your concert?
Most of all we want people to have fun and enjoy themselves, but we also want to highlight our cross-cultural collaboration and the Honduran influences in particular.
