Local company adds ease to health journeys

Posted

GREEN BAY – Jason Dyer and Ashley Lizotte drew on their lived experiences and decades of gained knowledge in dietary health and wellness to come together and form a brand that makes consumers feel good without the added guesswork of what to grab off the shelf.

“I grew up here in Green Bay and got my start in the dietary supplement, health and wellness industry back in 2004 with a local company called Enzymatic Therapy; today, it’s called Nature’s Way. That was more than 20 years ago, and the journey has taken me across more than 50 countries, but it always brought me back here,” said Co-Founder of Farmana Jason Dyer.

“Within my time at Nature’s Way and other companies, I learned a lot about dietary supplements, of course, but I also learned a lot about food and nutrition. And you know I went on my own personal health journey.”

Dyer’s personal health journey fueled both the brand and Farmana’s origin story.

‘Farm’ emphasizes the farm-to-function nutrition that Farmana’s mission is based on.

“We believe optimal nutrition begins with foods grown in healthy soil by farmers who nurture nature,” says Farmana’s website.

Dyer and Lizottee further live this mission by exploring, visiting and researching every farm where their products are grown. Making sure their customers get the best quality without the hassle of searching the shelves.

“I think at my worst, I got to about 260 pounds. I was the three-brats-per-game type of Lambeau Field visitor. I learned a lot along the way, related to you know, not just the quality of food,” said Dyer. “We went even further down the track exploring a broader range of whole foods, fruits, veggies, greens, the things we don’t eat enough of in the first place, and found we’ve got to eat a lot more than what we thought, in order to get the nutrition that we could have gotten 50 years ago from the same apples.”

“The word ‘mana’ is typically indicative of life source or energy source,” said Dyer. “We want to make it easier for people to find things that they can rely on, and that do more than just help carry them forward in a positive way, but help them set new standards for themselves.,” said Dyer.

In the early days of Farmana, the company narrowed 18 formulas down to its four core products to support everyday human feelings with ease, such as hydration, immunity, debloating and energy.

Hydrate and Replenish is a product that does just that. Featuring blueberries and coconut, Dyer mentioned that people who start their day with this product don’t run into a midday slump or feel the need for a midday cup of coffee, and that the taste resembles a fruit roll-up.

Workout and Energize is a caffeine supplement with minimal caffeine that still supports a healthy lifestyle.

Farmana wanted to give its consumers stamina, strength, endurance, and confidence by combining the best formulas to deliver the best benefits.

Digest and Debloat focuses on nurturing the gut and has helped Dyer himself manage his acid reflux.

The final of Farmana’s four core products is Immunity and Resilience, giving customers clarity regarding immunity ingredients and using the best blend to deliver the effects of an immunity shot.

“We launched a little more than a year ago. We launched into a few select locations, but we continue to expand pretty rapidly,” said Dyer. “For Farmana, the future is today. It begins every day in that way... We are not trying to become the option. We are trying to become an option.”
