GREEN BAY – After one of his most stellar seasons so far, veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark has been named to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Clark was drafted in 2016 by the Green Bay Packers out of UCLA and has been an integral part of the Packers’ defense ever since.

This season will mark Clark’s third year being named to the Pro Bowl team. Clark has been named to the Pro Bowl in 2019, 2021 and now 2023.

Although he has been with the Packers for eight seasons and is a seasoned vet, Clark has proven to be playing at this peak, posting his best stats so far in the 2023 season.

Earning this honor has come as a result of his performance this season earning a career-high 7.5 sacks, 16 QB hits, 2 forced fumbles and 9 tackles for a loss.

“I’m really proud of how I played, you know moving around this year,” said Clark.

“I think I’ve really been consistent all year.”

Throughout his career in Green Bay, Clark has started in 109 games for the Packers, compiling 34 sacks, 90 QB hits, 7 forced fumbles, and 52 tackles for a loss.

Clark is also fourth in team history in playoff sacks with 5.

“I had my career high in sacks, and a lot of other things this year. I’m just proud about how I played and how I led this team,” said Clark.

“I’m just looking forward to the future, knowing that we’ve got something good and knowing that I’ve got something to build off of and I’m excited about what we can do.”

This season, the Pro Bowl Games will remain a non-contact flag football game.

Due to risk of injury and a variety of other factors, players participating in the Super Bowl are not eligible to compete in the Pro Bowl Games.

Players are voted into the Pro Bowl Games by coaches and players within the League, as well as by fans, with each group’s vote counting for an equal third of the decision.

Due to the nature of the game, there is a variety of rule changes to accommodate the alternative setting, such as no rushing the passer, more than one forward pass thrown on the same play is allowed, kickoffs and punt returns are eliminated, among other rule changes.

This year’s Pro Bowl Games will take place on Feb. 4, 2024 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Flor.
