INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The month of January continues to be a strong one for the Green Bay women's basketball team! Jasmine Kondrakiewicz was named Player of the Week by the Horizon League on Monday afternoon.
Jasmine is the fourth Phoenix to earn the award this season, joining Cassie Schiltz, (Jan. 6), Natalie McNeal (Jan. 13 and Nov. 25), and Maddy Schreiber (Nov. 18). It is just the second time in her career earning the award, last collecting the accolade 364 days ago on January 29.
Kondrakiewicz helped Green Bay go 2-0 this past weekend with wins over Wright State and Northern Kentucky. 'Jas' piled up a career-high 31 points in the victory over Wright State before flirting with a double-double against the Norse, scoring 10 points and grabbing nine rebounds. She ranks in the Horizon League:
- Fifth in rebounds (6.9 RPG).
- Tied for ninth in blocked shots (0.5 BPG).
- Tied for fifth in steals (1.8 SPG).
Green Bay is riding a 10-game win streak and an 8-0 January record heading into Thursday night's showdown against Cleveland State, marking the first time the two squads will battle since the Horizon League Championship Game last March. GB's win streak matches the longest since last season (10 games, 12/13/23-1/18/24). Fans can
