Chrissy Timmins is a four-year varsity performer on the Jaguars girls soccer team.
This season she will make the change from forward to defense to help keep the ball out of the net.
She appeared in 21 games as a Junior and will also look to contribute on the offensive end when given the opportunity.
What is it like to be a leader on the soccer team at Ashwaubenon High School? “Being a leader is always a challenge because people look to you for guidance and motivation. However, it is a rewarding experience that I won’t forget.”
What is your most embarrassing moment ever in Soccer? “Being in a playoff game my freshman year for 32 seconds and getting a concussion from a goalie punt.”
How many years have you been involved in Soccer? “I started playing when I was five years old in the De Pere Rapids league. I moved up to my first select team, Foxx Soccer in 5th grade. Finally, I made it on varsity my freshman year at AHS.”
What is your most memorable moment? “Scoring my first high school goal off a free kick.”
What's the hardest part about performing in a Soccer competition? “Getting a shot off while being challenged by defenders and pushing through even when you’re losing.”
What are your college aspirations? “I will be attending St. Norbert College in the fall where I will Major in Secondary Education and English. I will also have a Music minor.”
What would your dream job be once you graduate? “My dream job is to teach in a good neighborhood of my choice.”
What are your hobbies? “My hobbies include soccer and participating in choir, band, and Jaguar Jazz. I have been part of the Jazz band for four years, and choir for the last two. I started playing trumpet in fourth grade and loved it instantly.”
What is your favorite event ever attended? “Country USA where I saw Luke Bryan perform for the first time.”
What is your favorite type of music? “I have grown up listening to country music. It has always been my favorite.”
What is your favorite thing to do on your phone? “Snapchat and text my friends”
What three words describe you? “Athletic, Musical, Caring”
What is your favorite trip ever taken? “The 2017 band trip to Oahu, Hawaii. I marched in the Pan-Pacific Parade, played and sang at Pearl Harbor, and the Ala Moana Shopping Center.”

Comments on Chrissy Timmins: “She has grown as a soccer player because she is very smart,” said Jaguars Soccer Coach Rick Kremer. “We are hoping she helps us on defense this year. She works very hard in practice and is a competitor at heart.”
