CSU exploded out of the break, extending the lead to 19 with 14:38 remaining in regulation after a mid-range shot by Smith. Green Bay traded baskets with the Vikings before Cleveland State pulled ahead for good after a three from Tahj Staveskie and two free throws from Smith, making it 69-44 with just over six minutes to go. Despite scoring 37 points in the second half, Green Bay dropped its fifth consecutive contest with an 83-61 loss.
