ASHWAUBENON – The Green Bay Booyah lost an 8-4 Northwoods League game July 28 to Fond du Lac at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon.
The Booyah (13-14) fell two games behind the Dock Spiders in the standings after surrendering eight consecutive runs.
Nick Kreutzer brought home Andy Blake with an RBI single in the first inning.
Kreutzer finished the day 2-for-5 with two runs driven in.
The other RBI from Kreutzer came in the third off another RBI single, and another run scored in the on a sacrifice fly from Alec Burns.
The only other run driven in came in the eighth inning when Cam Tilly brought home Matt McDonald.
Logan Lee worked five innings on the mound for Green Bay, giving up two runs.
Dalton Wiggins was handed the loss after not recording an out and allowing three runs to score.
Wiggins fell to 0-2 on the year.
The Booyah try to split the series with the Dock Spiders Wednesday, July 29, as Chris Jefferson makes his second start of the season.
Green Bay currently holds a 4-3 advantage over Fond du Lac this season but have dropped four consecutive games on its home turf.
