What is your favorite baseball memory?
Dogpiling and winning the conference championship at Harding.
What is the most challenging part about baseball?
Being able to not let emotions get too high or too low because it’s such a failure sport. Can’t let yourself get caught up in day-to-day emotions of the sport.
What is the best advice you have received from a coach/parent/teammate?
The best advice is to keep chasing the dream; a lot of people say to realize when you need to hang it up. The people that tell me to keep chasing the dream are the people I listen to and take to heart.
What made you gravitate towards being a pitcher?
I just always had more upside in baseball being a pitcher.
Who is one professional player that you admire? Why?
Who do you look up to the most in your family/who is your biggest supporter?
My grandpa passed away two years ago, but he was my best friend and I really looked up to him a lot.
Would you rather play in the freezing cold or extreme heat?
Heat for sure. That’s when I throw the hardest.
Favorite mantra, inspirational quote or Bible verse?
I have two favorite scriptures: 1 Corinthians 10:13 (I have this tattooed on my arm actually) and James 1: 2-4.
What are some of your hobbies outside of baseball?
Golf, disc golf and doing anything with my family or girlfriend.
What is your favorite thing to do in Green Bay?
