GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Gamblers currently sit in quarter-final play off position with a record of 11-6-4-6 in conference. They are in second place in the USHL Eastern Conference, behind only the Dubuque Fighting Saints (16-3-4-7).
The Gamblers were able to finish up 2023 with a 5-1 victory against Team USA on Saturday, Dec. 30 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
Their overall record at the end of the year was 17-6-4, which was the best in the USHL.
This year’s team also has the best away record in the league with 12-2-1.
One of the biggest factors in the team’s success this season has no doubt been due to the increased support of the fans shown through their attendance. This season alone, each home game has had an increase of attendance by about 800 fans, averaging 3,195 fans per game.
This increased attendance will be a significant boost for the team going into 2024 because the Gamblers are faced with seven home games in January with multiple promotion nights.
This season marks thirty years of Gambler hockey, with the inception of the team being in the year 1994.
The regular season will run through April 13, 2024.
