Posted

ASHWAUBENON – With football returning to Lambeau Field for the regular season Monday, Sept. 20, fans are invited to celebrate the new season with “Kickoff Weekend.”

Before game day, the weekend will be highlighted by a free concert featuring country artist Jake Owen, beginning at 5 p.m. outside Lambeau Field in the stadium’s east side parking lot Sunday, Sept. 19.

Parking for concert-goers is free in the Lambeau Field lots, and parking is first-come, first served.

Attendees may bring blankets and chairs to use during the show.

The Johnsonville Tailgate Village will also be open with food and beverages for purchase from 3-8 p.m.

The celebration will continue the next day with Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions welcoming a full-capacity crowd back to Lambeau Field for the first time since January 2020.

Fans will receive a “Kickoff Weekend” rally towel upon entering the game, with kickoff set for 7:15 p.m.
