FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Pulaski, NDA both win big

Pulaski, Notre Dame Academy, West De Pere and Ashwaubenon all pulled off wins last week. Pulaski, Notre Dame Academy and West De Pere have all qualified for the postseason. If Ashwaubenon beats De Pere this Friday, it will return to the playoffs. All games last week were played on Oct. 7.

Pulaski 42, Green Bay Southwest 17
Maverick Cole was a one-man wrecking crew.

The senior rushed for 348 yards and four touchdowns as Pulaski wore down Green Bay Southwest for a 42-17 victory.

Green Bay Southwest (1-5, 1-7 FRCC) got on the scoreboard first as Mason Meyer hit Connor Pytleski for a 14-yard touchdown to make it 7-0.

Pulaski (6-2, 4-2 FRCC) tallied three straight touchdowns on runs by Logan Shultz (15 yards), Jacob Doxtater (22 yards) and Cole (34 yards).

The Red Raiders put the game out of reach in the second half on three Cole TDs from 10, 25 and 69 yards.
The Trojans got a 25-yard touchdown pass from Meyer to Gavin Yang.

Meyer was 16-for-33 passing for 203 yards and two scores. Pytleski had 10 receptions for 123 yards and one touchdown.

Jacob Hanson led Southwest on the ground with 81 yards on 25 carries.

Notre Dame Academy 76, Green Bay West 0
One week after suffering a tough loss at Menasha, Notre Dame Academy rebounded with a resounding 76-0 win over Green Bay West.

The Tritons (5-3, 5-1 FRCC) built a 62-0 lead by halftime.

Notre Dame finished with six rushing touchdowns, led by Ian Blom with 162 yards on 11 carries and three scores. Christian Collins had 97 yards and one trip to the end zone.

Joe Otradovec was highly efficient through the air, completing 5-for-7 passes for 149 yards and four touchdowns. James Flanigan had three receptions for 55 yards and two scores.

Tritons defensive tackle Tate Milton also got into the scoring mix. He returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Dakotah Montez led Green Bay West (0-8, 0-6 FRCC) with four catches for 45 yards.

West De Pere 45, Green Bay Preble 7
West De Pere had its running game working well against Green Bay Preble en route to a 45-7 victory.

The Phantoms got 174 yards rushing on just 13 carries and four touchdowns from do-everything Najeh Mitchell. He also added 34 yards receiving on two catches.

West De Pere (8-0, 6-0 FRCC) scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters to mount a big lead.
Duke Shovald was 9-for-17 passing for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Langdon Nordgaard caught his first two touchdown passes of the season.

Preble (0-8, 0-6 FRCC) got 47 yards on 14 attempts from Ja’donn Potter-Kanyata. David Torres threw for 66 yards.

Ashwaubenon 38, Sheboygan South 18
Ashwaubenon kept its playoff hopes alive by beating Sheboygan South, 38-18.

Boone Kirst had a productive night throwing the ball, going 12-for-17 for 178 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Ashwaubenon (3-5, 3-3 FRCC) Caden Van Duyse had four catches for 54 yards and one score. Jayden Schoen had his only catch of the game go for a 47-yard touchdown.

Jacob McVane had eight carries for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Manitowoc Lincoln 57, Green Bay East 6
Host Manitowoc Lincoln jumped out a 49-0 lead at halftime and cruised past Green Bay East, 57-6.

Isaiah Lyons led Green Bay East with 21 carries for 40 yards. Efrain Grejada added 31 yards on the ground for East (1-7, 1-5 FRCC).

Gibraltar 48, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran United 6
United scored the game’s opening touchdown, but it was all Gibraltar after that, scoring a 48-6 victory.
United quarterback Reid Nelson was 8-for-10 passing for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Josh Kribs had three catches for 46 yards and Griffin Steffel caught for balls for 20 yards for United (0-7, 0-5 Peninsula 8).
