Bay Port just keeps on dispatching of local teams and moves to 6-0 on the season. Notre Dame Academy has won four straight games and is tied atop the Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC)-South with Menasha entering their showdown this week. All games were played on Sept. 23.

Bay Port 63, Green Bay Southwest 7
Bay Port’s rushing attack couldn’t be stopped.

The Pirates ran for 373 yards and six touchdowns in a 63-7 rout of visiting Green Bay Southwest in a FRCC-North matchup.

Bay Port, ranked No. 4??? in Division 1 in the latest WisSports.net Coaches Poll, got three touchdown runs from quarterback Cole Bensen. Blake Buchinger, Carter Kallies and Tevyn Montgomery all had one rushing score.

Buchinger had 12 carries for 130 yards and Kallies had four attempts for 101 yards.

“Bay Port provides so many challenges because they are so physically and technically dominant that they require you to play perfect in every aspect of the game,” Southwest co-head coach Aaron Van Eperen said. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to sustain that over the entirety of the game. There were
some things to like early on offense, but we weren’t able to sustain it and keep up with what their offense was doing.”

Notre Dame Academy 38, Green Bay Preble 7
After an 0-2 start to the season, Notre Dame Academy has won four straight games.

The Tritons used a balanced attack on the ground and through the air to beat visiting Green Bay Preble, 38-7.
