EPIC launches new Marathon and Running Festival

Posted

EPIC Event Center is teaming up with Race Day Events to bring an electrifying new running festival to the community on May 18.

The first-ever EPIC Marathon & Running Festival promises a perfect mix of heart-pumping races and live entertainment, all in the scenic surroundings of Green Bay.

This festival will feature a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, half marathon relay, 5K and even a kids’ run, offering something for everyone from serious runners to families looking for an active day out.

EPIC Event Center, well-loved in Green Bay for its concerts and live events, will inject a fresh energy into the running scene with a high-spirited atmosphere for packet pickup and the post-race celebration.

Meanwhile, Race Day Events, a leader in Wisconsin endurance event management, will bring their expert touch to the logistical details.

“We’re thrilled to introduce EPIC Marathon & Running Festival to runners near and far,” said Mark Skogen, owner of EPIC Event Center. “We’re putting our own unique spin on this event—not only to create an exciting race day experience, but to give something special back to our community.”

Ryan Griessmeyer, president of Race Day Events, echoed the enthusiasm: “The team at Race Day Events is thrilled to bring a brand-new marathon and running festival to the Green Bay area this May. We believe in the importance of keeping a vibrant, community-centered event like this in the region, and we’re excited to partner with EPIC to create an unforgettable experience for runners and spectators alike. We look forward to building a new tradition that celebrates fitness, community, and the energy of the Green Bay area.”
