ASHWAUBENON – The Green Bay Booyah recently announced the signing of three players to its roster for the 2020 season.
Stephen Hrustich and Jack Sauser – both from Northwestern University – and Louisville’s Chris Seng will be joining Green Bay this summer.
A native of Lilburn, Georgia, Hrustich was beginning his first year with the Wildcats this spring.
The 6-foot-1 catcher and first baseman hit .417 during a three-game stint against South Carolina, earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.
On the mound, the Booyah welcome another freshman in the 6-foot-6 Sauser.
In four outings this spring, the right-hander allowed no runs over his five innings pitched while striking out nine batters against one walk.
Sauser, a native of Bloomington, Illinois, had three strikeouts in his collegiate debut against Omaha.
The outfielder Seng is from La Grange, Kentucky.
In his shortened freshman campaign, the speedster was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases.
Seng also holds the record for most stolen bases (174) at Oldham County High School
