Bay Port track and field sweeps at DeMerit Invitational

SUAMICO – The Bay Port girls’ and boys’ track and field teams each won their portion of the 15th Annual DeMerit Invitational May 6 at Bay Port High School.

Seven teams competed in the meet, held in blustery conditions.

The Bay Port girls’ 206 points easily outdistanced Kaukauna (152), De Pere (134), Oshkosh West (106), Pulaski (38), Ashwaubenon (19) and Green Bay West (19).

For the boys, the Pirates’ 201 points bettered De Pere (148), Oshkosh West (136), Kaukauna (113), Green Bay West (45), Pulaski (26) and Ashwaubenon (17).

200-meter dash: Macy Biebel, BP, 27.14
