Bay Conference wrestling awards announced

BROWN COUNTY – The Bay Conference recently released its postseason all-conference wrestling awards.

Locally, Green Bay United, Seymour and West De Pere compete in the Bay.

Seymour’s Wyatt Kaczrowski, who finished runner-up at the WIAA Division 2 state meet in the 120-pound weight category, was named co-wrestler of the year along with Xavier’s Mac Strand.

First team

Wyatt Kaczrowski (SEY), Ryan Tomazevic (SEY), Jake Hendricks (WDP).

Second team

Javon Leisgang (SEY), Alec Ukkola (WDP), Thomas Mudd (WDP), Gyriece Goodman (WDP).

Honorable mention

Blake McCurrie (GBU), Blake Linsmeyer (SEY).
