ASHWAUBENON – Ashwaubenon High School has hired Mark Tomashek as the new boys’ basketball coach.
Tomashek most recently coached varsity basketball at Denmark High School where he compiled a 117-75 career record from 1999-2008.
“We are excited for Coach Tomashek to lead our program,” said activities director/associate principal Nick Senger. “He brings energy and a wealth of basketball knowledge. Our goal will be to continue developing young men with high character and a strong work ethic.”
Tomashek replaces Chris Karcz, who was the head coach of the program for the last two seasons.
“I am excited to be given the opportunity to work with the young men in the Ashwaubenon basketball program,” said Tomashek. “I’m looking forward to helping our student-athletes set and reach their goals. Our focus will be on getting better every day by being competitors and being committed to the process.”
