ASHWAUBENON – The Brown County Library Ashwaubenon Branch will close on June 8 as the library system prepares to transition operations to the new Pamperin Family Branch Library at 909 Cormier Road in Green Bay.
The new library will open its doors to the public on July 18 with a grand opening celebration.
The Pamperin Family Branch Library brings a fresh, expanded library experience to the Ashwaubenon community.
Twice the size of the current branch, it offers roomy areas for children, families, teens and young adults, and a larger collection.
Visitors will find six private study rooms, flexible meeting rooms for group use, and a quiet reading room for anyone seeking a calm space.
Cozy seating is spread throughout, inviting everyone to read, work, and enjoy the surroundings.
Funding for the project came from various sources, with the majority provided through Brown County Board of Supervisors.
The project also benefited from the generosity of private donors, as well as support from the Village of Ashwaubenon and the state of Wisconsin.
“The Pamperin Family Branch Library marks a thrilling new chapter for library services in this region,” said Sarah Sugden, Director of Brown County Library. “We are incredibly grateful to our funding partners, our donors, and the entire community for making this vision a reality. We cannot wait to open the doors and welcome everyone in.”
