BROWN COUNTY – The fifth week of the high school football season saw all Green Bay area teams in action.

Bay Port rolls: The Pirates (5-0, 5-0 FRCC) qualified for the playoffs for the 19th straight season with a 56-0 win over De Pere (2-3, 2-3).

Bay Port ran four offensive plays (scoring on each) and added a punt return for a touchdown to lead 35-0 after one quarter.

The Pirates outgained the Redbirds in total yardage, 361-53.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran/Oneida drops game: The United (2-3, 2-2 MONLPC-8) lost a 50-38 8-man game to Gibraltar (4-1, 4-1 MONLPC).

Green Bay Preble rips Golden Raiders: The Hornets (2-3, 2-3 FRCC) bombed Sheboygan North (0-5, 0-5 FRCC) 45-7 to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Preble rushed for 346 yards on 27 attempts.

Evan Holm, Connor Shefchik, Jamar Howell and Ben Navarre scored offensive touchdowns, while Shefchik returned an interception for a score.

The Hornets also scored on a blocked punt.

Green Bay Southwest shuts out South: The Trojans (2-3, 2-3 FRCC) won 21-0 over the Redwings (1-4, 1-4 FRCC) in a must-win game.

Tyler Rasmussen returned a punt for a score, Nick Metler took an interception back for a touchdown and Alex Kowalczyk hit Noah Gucwa on a 27-yard toss for another score.

West De Pere rushes past Hawks: The Phantoms (5-0, 5-0 Bay Conference) beat Xavier (3-2, 3-2 Bay) 42-14 to qualifty for the playoffs.

West De Pere ran the ball 59 times for 375 yards.

Running back Sam Mommaerts scored three touchdowns and led the Phantoms with 131 yards rushing on 21 carries.
