GREEN BAY – Green Bay Southwest High School hosted the Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) track and field meet Tuesday, May 16.
Locally, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Southwest and Pulaski compete in the FRCC.
In the boys’ competition, De Pere finished with 169.6 points to bring home the title, while the Bay Port girls were victorious with 160.5 points.
Bay Port (132) and Preble (114) were second and third for the boys, respectively, while De Pere (110) and Preble (87) took the next two spots in the girls’ competition.
Notre Dame (fourth – 83.6), Southwest (fifth – 48), Ashwaubenon (eighth – 38.2) and Pulaski (ninth – 31.6) finished out the boys’ results.
Notre Dame (fourth – 83.5), Pulaski (sixth – 63.5), Ashwaubenon (seventh – 61) and Southwest (eighth – 36) rounded out the girls’ results.
All six of the local FRCC teams – along with Green Bay East and Green Bay West – will compete in the De Pere Regional Monday, May 22.
The top four finishers in each event at regionals automatically qualify for the West De Pere Sectional on Thursday, May 25.
In Division I, the top three finishers in each event at sectionals automatically qualify for the WIAA State Meet Friday-Saturday, June 2-3, at the Veterans Memorial Stadium Complex in La Crosse.
