STEVENS POINT – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) recently identified the event locations for girls’ team tennis, cross country, boys’ soccer and girls’ golf for the alternate fall season being conducted this spring.
Girls’ team tennis, Saturday, May 1: Menard Tennis Center, Eau Claire.
Cross country, Saturday, May 8: Blackhawk Golf Course, Janesville.
Boys’ soccer, Saturday, May 15 (semifinals and final): Division 1 – Kewaskum High School; Division 2 – Marian University (host St. Mary’s Springs High School).
Girls’ golf, Monday-Tuesday, May 17-18: Blackwolf Run, Kohler.
The alternate-season opportunity was created by the WIAA Board of Control for school sports programs opting out of fall participation to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during the pandemic.
