In February, dozens of greater Green Bay area residents came together for a peaceful rally in a show of solidarity with the people of Ukraine. The rally hit home for two Notre Dame Academy exchange students and friends — Vlada Klymenko, of Ukraine, and Milana Volkova, of Russia.

In March, the Notre Dame Academy girls' basketball team won its fourth state title overall with a 68-56 victory over Reedsburg in the WIAA Division 2 state championships.

In April, The Exclusive Company closed its doors, prompting former employee Pierre Jacques to open a new record shop in September — The Green Bay UFO Museum Gift Shop — where former Exclusive Company manager Tom Smith also works.

In May, the community observed the one-year anniversary of a tragic shooting at the Duck Creek Kitchen and Bar, the Oneida Casino/Radisson Conference Center in Ashwaubenon, that claimed the lives of employees Jacob Bartel and Ian Simpson. Bartel's grandparents participated in a healing ceremony to commemorate their and the community's loss.

In November, On Broadway, Inc. held its first Christkindlmarket — a traditional German-style holiday market. Vendors sold unique gifts and attendees could enjoy holiday movies, carolers and classic food and drinks.
