Sydney Appleton is a senior on the girls’ basketball team at West De Pere High School.

The Battle on the Bay, one of the best high school wrestling tournaments in the state, took place Dec. 8 at Bay Port High School.

DE PERE—Alivia McNabb scored 13 points as the West De Pere Phantoms defeated the Seymour Thunder 59-41 in girls’ basketball, Dec. 4.

DE PERE – West De Pere was well represented in the Bay Conference postseason awards for the fall sports season.

DE PERE- The De Pere Redbirds defeated the West De Pere Phantoms by a final of 50-27 in boys wresting action. (Nov. 29)

Everard was recently named the Bay Conference volleyball player of the year.

ASHWAUBENON—The West De Pere Phantoms girls basketball team used their stifling defense to defeat the Ashwaubenon Jaguars by a final of 40-37 in a non-conference game. (Nov. 26)

MADISON—In 24 minutes, the unthinkable happened! The Catholic Memorial Crusaders scored five second half touchdowns to turn a 24-0 deficit into a 37-24 victory over the West De Pere Phantoms in the Division 3 State Championship game. (Nov. 16)
